Click this link to open up PayPal's website. Its very necessary to use this exact link. Right click to copy or just click it to open a new tab. If you use the link, you should be on a page like this.

On this page click on the blue signup button on the top right corner of the page. Clicking on any other signup button might not send you to the exact page shown below.

This page will prompt you to choose an account type. There are only two types of accounts available on PayPal, the PERSONAL ACCOUNT and the BUSINESS ACCOUNT.

Whats the difference?

A personal account allows you to shop around the world from the comfort of your home without having to share your credit card details. However, it requires a lot of documentation which is inconvenient for people trying to signup from an unsupported country.

A business account allows you to send invoices and receive payments from customers with zero hassle. This account type is business oriented and its the type we will be creating today.

However, both accounts can send and receive money and the major difference is the orientation: personal and business.

Choose the business account and click continue.

The next page is going to require you to enter your email address and choose a password. I recommend you create a brand new email address for this process. If you have tried to create a PayPal account recently, let's say within a month or two, I advise you use the details of a trusted individual for this process.

PayPal might be suspicious if you tried to create a PayPal account with your exact details after a couple of failed attempts. Even if you are able to go through the entire process smoothly PayPal is going to flag your account at the end.

On the next page you will be asked to provide information about your business. Fill in the blanks and even if you don't have a business name just enter your name in that field. Make sure you change the country flag to that of your country for the phone number field. I am from Ghana so in the screenshot below you will find its a Ghanaian flag. Enter your valid phone number in there including the "0".

Now for the business address, head over to this website and choose a random address. Fill in the blanks and proceed to the next page.

We need to describe our business.

Choose "Individual/sole proprietor" for the business type.

For the product or service keywords type in "digital" and select from any of the three options and click continue.

Step #6

Now we have to enter a little information about ourselves.

Input your Date of Birth and change the nationality to your nationality. Now select any form of identity and provide PayPal with any other information required.

Click on the submit button.

If you followed every step one at a time you should be redirected to your dashboard. Which should look like this.

Although you are in your dashboard you are not done. Go to your email inbox and confirm your email address.

After confirming your email address, you also need to link and confirm your debit card.

For the Card linking to be a success, you need to have at least a balance of $5.00 on your visa card. PayPal is going to deduct a small fee of up to $1.50 dollars from your card as a form of verification. Yow will receive a code in your transaction history beginning with "PP". Enter the code into PayPal and your account will be verified by PayPal.This money is refundable and will be deposited back to your card.
